RE: Chat
With many people having clans (and clan chats), plus the addition of the friend list (FL), it's actually a little redundant to have a BEO chat (which is what I think the reasoning was to remove it). While a chat provides a nice place to lounge around between matches, there's no real need to have one anymore because of the new additions of clans and the FL. Those who like to chat can do so in-game, most of us are more than willing to talk to people who aren't rude (or if we know the language and can effectively communicate in it).

RE: Chat
I'd always support the idea of an official BEO chat. Tenchi is right, many clans have their own chat, but most of them are restricted to members and friends only, which means not everyone would be able to join the party.

RE: Chat
We can have the developers pay for a teamspeak server, which would allow for both public chats and private chats, both with voice and text
It would not only help our current community stay connected with each other, but it would help bring new players in to join us Am I the only one that's used it before? ![]() |

RE: Chat
The thing about that kind of chat is that they are made for groups that are much, much smaller than the BEO lounge.
Think of a room with 100 people trying to talk with each other and you'll see the problem that a voice chat would cause. (Not to mention that many of us aren't native English speakers!) |
