Hi,

So a lot of people like to put that they're away even know they're not. I know it's not a big deal but I wonder how hard it'll be to change it so let's say if you typed in "away until blah blah" and then put your reason, and then when you logged back on it would all go away.

I know it's not very important but it's slightly annoying seeing people abusing it.
Macab your very right
Makes sense, but there's one small detail to consider, what if they put that in there, so others can now why that person may take a long time to reply PM's or threads.
Yeah true. Well I don't know then since you can't censor what they write obviously. And I wouln't want something where you had to chose between specific reasons why you're away.

And it'll also take a lot of time to add a whole new thing about inactive instead of away. And people would abuse the inactive feature instead if the away feature got removed every time you logged back in.
Why not have it set up to where as soon as you click on something on the forums it automatically switches your availability from away to online?

Maybe have it to a way to where if you're offline, you're away or offline, but if online, you could be busy, online etc, and it just changes naturally on what you're doing or set it as.
For those who take a long time to reply, there's a simple solution: putting it in their bio that they take awhile to respond. When you're away, you're usually gone for a good reason (traveling without computer, needing a break from the game/forums, work/school, etc.). Take, for example, this summer I won't be getting on that often because of work issues.
