I'm not sure if any of these have already been suggested or not, and if so, I apologize in advance.

We already have low grav and random grav, but what about high grav? It would be a new and more challenging mode for players to master (especially for those eggies who already mastered the current modes).

Another interesting mode would be a craze/hectic mode where there are no turns and everyone can shoot at once. However, I realize this would probably be more difficult to do considering the masses of players and potential increased lag that may be generated.

There must be some kind of system already in place to tell who is online since you can see who is online in your friends list. Therefore, would it be possible to have a chatbox? I know we already have one in-game, but I mean on the side that allows for all online players to chat in one big group (and possibly a system where you can select a player to pm). Again, I don't know the technicalities of this but I think it's something that may be interesting to consider once the Donkins have more time after the mobile game is produced.

Thanks to anyone who bothered to stick around and read all of this, I would love to hear everyone's opinions.

Sorry about the poll, I thought I had selected for multiple options to be able to be chosen, however that did not occur and I don't think I can edit the poll.
High-gravity mode was suggested in a different thread, and I think the reaction was generally positive.

A chat isn't exactly hard to make, but the issue is that the amount of online players is counted by hundreds, and often over a thousand -- it wouldn't be even remotely usable. (If you're wondering how I can know how many players are online, I cannot; but I can check the lobby and see how many players are in a game. The amount of players online must be at least that many, and is probably larger by a fair amount.)

The craze mode... would probably result in an insane amount of lag from people throwing grenades around just in the hopes of hitting something. It could work if you added a cooldown timer after each shot though.
Thanks for the feedback Inuyasha Smiley_Smile And perhaps the craze mode could work with your suggestion!
I'd be up for a high gravity option!

I've never really thought about a craze mode before. I think it's an interesting idea, alongside Inuyasha's cooldown solution.
Hey Unwritten =p

High Gravity- It's been suggested a few times before and it would be a great and natural inclusion to the game.

Chat- This would be a useful addition to the friends list where there could be an option to message your online friends. But as for having a chatbox for everyone online and playing, it wouldn't be viable. As Inuyasha says, there are way too many players in-game to have that option functioning without issues. Just viewing a list of all online players would be incredibly laggy, so having a conversation with that many people online wouldn't be possible. Messages would also fly by pretty quick. Only way that could work is if the game was split up into different servers/realms/hubs, which isn't something that's needed or should be done on Beo.

Crazy Hectic Mode- There's a pretty similar setting in another game called 'Shellshock', where there's a togglable option to have both sets of players move and fire at the same time, on the same turn, so shooting and movement occurs simultaneously. Linking this to Inuyasha's suggestion of a cooldown timer, that game also has a set time period for players to move and aim after firing, and then once both players are ready, the projectiles are fired. The difference between that game and Beo, is that there's a limit on how much a player can move, so point blank range isn't really a possiblity. Whereas simultaneous shooting on Beo where point blank shooting is common, can be tricky. Say if a player comes point blank to fire triple knives but the opposing player wants to use a weapon with a large blast radius or a weapon like meteors, the latter is handicapped and would inflict damage to themselves. So if this mode were to be introduced, a limit on movement would also have to be incorporated to overcome those issues ^^

All in all nice suggestions, and it's nice having you back =)

Pretty much what I was thinking, including the SSL2 part, but I think an in-game lobby chat would be an interesting thing to have as well.
I Like The High Grav
Sound Like More Fun

Im Not Sure About The Craze Mode
I Dont Get This You Meant Shooting Anytime Or Having A Timer To Aim And At The End Every Player Shoot Simultaneous ? If Is This I Like This, But No Shooting Freely Couse I Need To Sip My Coffee While Playing Smiley_Tongue

A Chat And PM System In Game Sounds Useful But Maybe A Simple Chat Window In The Main Lobby
I Dont Know How Hard Is To Coding This Stuff Maybe Is To Much And Thats Why Is Not In The Game.

Nice Ideas
Tally- Thanks for the support Smiley_BigGrin

Goon- Quite a long reply, but well worth the read. Limiting movement would probably be helpful to limit the issues that you had mentioned. And ty for the wb, it's nice to be back. Smiley_Tongue

Game- I agree, the chat would be nice, however as Gooner said, I don't know how plausible the mass chat would be, but a friends list chat could perhaps work (though it would probably have to be 1v1 not the entire list at once as not everyone has the same friends list).

Pix- I meant shooting freely, but that really could be hectic with lag (and lack of coffeeSmiley_Tongue)
My opinion is the same as Inuyasha's.
I support pretty much all of these ideas provided that they can be sustained and work properly.
