Daily Challenges.
Hola!

Players want more XP, more shells, more weapons. For that, this game definitely needs some updates. Well,

How about a Daily Challenge ? Their rewards ranging anywhere from XP, or to get a new shell or weapon after continuously finishing the Daily Challenge, lets say for a week or two. The reward, could also being able to put on a shell you haven't bought for a day. Or, being able to use weapons for a particular time period, like 12 hours.

The challenges, well they are easy to decide...
  • Gaining a specific amount of XP, different for pro and non-pro users, on a specific map.
  • A set number of kills.
  • Killing a specific free shell, like Ghost, Van-Hesling, Zombie etc.
  • To win a specific amount of games, this too, different number for pro and non-pro users.
  • Earn XP on, or Play a specific amount of a type of game. Like Arms Race, Doomsberries, or 1v1's or 2v2v2's etc.
  • Kill with a specific weapon a specific number of times.

The Rewards...
  • Daily Rewards.
    • A decent amount of XP.
    • Being Pro, for a very small time, lets say 1 hour. If they become pro for an hour, the player would be able to make pro games, and but will NOT get Double XP.
    • Being able to put on a paid shell, for free, for 2 hours.
    • Being able to use a random weapon pack for 2 hours.
  • Monthly/ Twice A Month Rewards.
    Under this point, the rewards mentioned will be given after a period of doing the daily challenges consecutively in a row.
    • After completing the daily challenges, without fail, for a fortnight, the player could be given a new free Shell, or a weapon. (Think of it as an unlock-able)
    • After doing the challenge for a month, being able to miss doing the challenge two times, the player could be given a paid shell (Of 20 creds)
    • After doing the challenge for a month, being able to miss doing the challenge two times, the player could be given a single random weapon, from any weapon pack permanently. (Can't think what to give to someone who already owns the lot)
      permanently.

I added the two day leave, because playing everyday for a month, and completing a challenge is not easy, because some players do not play on Sundays.

Also, if its for the greater good, you can change the daily challenge you get once. Its like you got Get XP on the Castle map, you can change it for free. (Only once. irreversible)

If anyone has any more ideas, of challenges, or the rewards, they are most welcome to cite them out Smiley_Smile.

There is only one challenge per day. And they are not exactly hard ones. Boosting would be for XP, and kills... But still, there is only one challenge per day ( Just added this right now), so boosting won't matter....The Daily rewards, according to me are decent. And the amount of XP, could be 3000... Thats not a lot too, speaking in terms of pro users.

Nice idea but if someone is pro for a few hours getting double xp wouldn't they use the opertuninty to boost there level up?

Isn't that the point of being pro ? You get Double XP, and different modes. Its only for 3 hours...Yea, they would probably boost. So, it could be reduced to 1 hour. Or, you would get access to making pro games, but no double XP...

1 vs 1 match in easy map like pumpkin lasts 30secs-1 min depending weaps players have so 50 games is very possible inside 1 hr.

I like the idea, reminds me of the treasure hunts in need for speed world before they absolutely just killed that game off, what a shame.

On daily challenges, I like something like getting 10-15 kills in a row without dying, or something along the lines. Some simple objective, but would like rewards a lot more minimal than you have proposed. Instead of a boost for 2-3 hours, for pros lets make it 30 mins, and for non pros about an hour.

Also, for paid shells use time for free, lets work more towards an hour, because at 6, that becomes a quarter of a day, and I just feel like it is too much.

The only thing I would agree with in the monthly/biweekly format is the gift of a weapon/shell, but only one that has been specifically designed for this feature, not one from the shop.

Good idea, supported.

Nice idea, but it's also kinda causing people to get most of the shells that people NEED to buy, it would sort of be stealing some of the Donkin's business, which they want you to buy shells, and lots of people and their friends would get buck loads of free stuff because they "Boost" and it would ruin the fun of it

Well, I found myself agreeing with you on most parts. Smiley_Smile. But playing continously for a month, and complete the given challenge everyday is a tough job.

And, yes, the free new shell would have to be specifically designed for this.
Although I still feel that a 20 credit shell (Randomly Given), is a fair reward for a month's hard work. Same goes for a single random weapon (From a Pack).

Getting a 20 credit shell (In my opinion), and that too not of the user's choice is a fair reward for a month's work. though if more people are in the favor of removing that part, it would have to go.. Smiley_Nerd

Tho, I can't see the requirement to Boost, since the challenged are pretty easy, and the rewards do not really matter after the edit I just made.


Made 3 main edits.
1. Reduced time of free pro to an hour. Double Xp will NOT be given.
2. Reduced time of using free shell and pack to 2 hours. Might reduce it to 1 later.
3. Reduced the limit of the free shell to 20 credits.
