Best weapon pack?

As you can see in the tittle, I want to know which weapon pack is the best one. Because I'm thinking on buy one. If nobody decides then I'll buy the maps with portals. :L

I have 50 credits, I was thinking on buy the PRO pack but it's impossible if you're not buyer. u.u

At the moment I think that the 8th weapon pack is the best. But I want to see your comments.

Best packs are 8 3 and 6 in my opinnion, but it depends on your strategy. I also use to suggest to don't buy pro before having packs 8 3 6 and 9 because have it's more important than have pro or the pro pack. I also suggest to don't buy a map pack unless you don't know what to do with your credits (I bought all and don't use it too much...).

If you only have 50 credits I suggest you to buy weapon pack 8, useful for every game, or the 3 if you use to play with x2 explosions enabled (if you have a friend with pro).

No one pack is any better (or worse) than any other, it's all personal opinion.

If you really want pro, then you can always wait for the next event(s). Even if you don't buy credits, you can get pro within 1 year of playing.

Well, if you really want to level up you should buy pro. If you don't care about that as much and you want to win more games you should get a weapon pack.

In my opinion, pack 8 is BY FAR the best pack across all settings. Devils hand 48 damage, plane 50 damage, and the ghost bow can easily get 54 with bouncy walls. If you specifically play wind without walls, then there might be a more useful pack, but personally I would still go with pack 8 because its really OP.

I agree with HARDSCOPE very good pack it should be always everyones first pack, then 3 then 6 then 9 but its up to you

Personally, weapon pack 9 is most useful for me. The 8 ball, arctic barrage, rc drones, plasma bouncers are very powerful in the game.

Depends on how you enjoy playing.

For single egg hitting (x1) pack 6 or 8 is the best to use.

Pack 6 has 4 weapons that can be used on individuals easily

The highest damage pack weapon with 55 (the time flight splurge grenade)
Single hit ice (24)
Panda (35 if under the egg)
Turret (35, with 5 being the explosion of the turret)

The only weapon used for multiple eggs would be the napalm, so this pack is best used in a 1v1 setting.

Pack 8 has 4 weapons that can be used on individuals easily

Time flight Plane (50, with 10 being the plane itself)
Remote control devils hand (48)
Ghost bow (18 per hit)
Rocket Slam (35, with 10 being the explosion from pressing space)

You could say the jumping jack could be good for x1, but for the purpose that it can go in any direction from when it hits something, that is better to be an x2 weapon. This does 30.



Now, if you want it to be good for doing damage to multiple eggs, pack 3 or 9 is the best to use.

Pack 3 has 3 weapons (4 in the case of doing a kill followed by hitting another egg) that are easily capable of doing damage to multiple eggs

Falling Elephants (54)
Flamethrower (~5-20 followed by a few turns of fire)
Blunder Bouncer (37)
(Soldiers (35) only good for x2 in a situation of killing one egg then the rest walking to the next)

Pack 9 has all 5 weapons having a great potential of doing damage to multiple eggs at ease.

Eight-Ball (36) bounces like the jumping jack but does not travel as far, but it still can't be controlled.
Plasma Bouncer (41, with 5 being the explosion of the bouncer) It seeks the closest egg. In a team setting this can be used very strategically.
Arctic Barrage (max is 51, but since they spread like elephants and napalm strike average is 25-30)
Rc Swarm (32) You can control these, so you can hit multiple targets with a certain amount of damage, for example hit two eggs for 16 damage each.
Pickled Volley (34) As these don't explode when they hit land, they can spread a very large radius.


Lastly, the packs you shouldn't get are 1 (though this comes with pro, you can just disable it), 2, 7.


Pack 4 is okay, but not significantly good in any specific mode. In the beginning of the game it was the 2nd best pack to pack 3 (there were only 4 packs at the time). It's a little bit better than 1,2,7.
