RE: Some Math Problems...
Anyways I was wrong...
It's 4!4/4=24... The ! is for factorial. Like 4! = 1 x 2 x 3 x 4 The real answer is: (²√4)+(²√4)+(²√4)=6 LOL sorry... |

RE: Some Math Problems...
Forgot about factorials...
I can't believe that I did Algebra I twice and I forgot about bloody factorials. And yeah, with square roots it even looks obvious; I didn't know if we could put operations with extra numbers, but I didn't realize anyways. EDIT: What about 4!/4x4^0=6 Since ²√4 it's 4^(1/2) we could do 4^0 too, so there is a lot of posibilities! |

RE: Some Math Problems...
also the answer for 4 4 4 = 6 could be 4+4 - √4 = 8-2=6

RE: Some Math Problems...
Yes, as rata536 and troll2 said, there are many answers...

RE: Some Math Problems...
! mean "Factorial"
4! mean 4x3x2x1= 24 then divided by 4 is 6. I have think of that way before, but I though Liam said can only use add, subtract, multiply, and divide only. And from the look of his example. Didn't knew we can use Factorial, and other method as well. "any math symbol" mean can use other than that EDIT: Aha... it seem someone already explained when I am done typing this post. |
