Pokemon weapon? (weapon idea)

Weapon Idea 1 - The Pokémon move "Tri attack"

So with all this talk about Pokémon Go and Pokémon Sun and Moon come ever closer it only make sense to do a weapon on a Pokémon move

In Pokémon there is a move called "Tri attack" Its has a chance to paralyse, Burn or freeze and has a 20% chance (6.67% each)

How would this fit into Beo2 as a weapon?
Ok, so I was thinking the weapon could do something like 15 damage and has a chance like tri attack to either burn, freeze and poison (Since you can be paralysed in the game)

What would the chance be to hit a status condition?
Well, it wouldn't be high. I'd say like the chance in Pokémon (6.67% each)

What happens if you don't get a status condition?
I thought about this and what I came up with is would be depending the amount of damage it would do E.g. it did 15 and didn't get a status condition maybe just do an extra 10 damage so it would be boosted to 25 (Only if the opponent being hit doesn't get a status condition)

So the weapon wouldn't be OP (over powered) or anything just may be a fun thing to use and see if you get lucky?

What would the weapon look like?
Nothing special, has a similar look to the bazooka but not completely the same. Unless anyone has a better idea?

Would you be able to have multiple status conditions?
I also thought about this first I said no but then I thought why not, as in the game you can give the opponent more than one status problem but you would have to be lucky

If they were to add this to the game?
If they were to add this into the game I would highly suggest making a new status problem just to make in more of a variety and make the weapon actually worth using, I thought about a chance of healing the opponent so it would make it that more intense. (But it cant have a chance to heal yourself due to the fact there is a weapon already like that) OR they could maybe add a new status

Notes
- If there is any ideas I like I will be sure to add them on (and give you credit)
- Please before posting make sure you aren't to harsh it took me a long time to do this
- There may be a few errors in it as I did kind of rush it (Please point them out)
- If you have a design for the weapon and you want to make it in art or something I will gladly put it on this thread (And again give you credit it)
- Any ideas for a new status move that could be used on this weapon? Let me know!! (Again, I will give you credit if I think its good)

Hmmm...

It is a cool idea, however there would be trademark and copyright problems with it since pokemon is trademarked and the move is stapled on Pokemon. If Bad Viking does ignore that, they could get sued for a lot of money. So, in order to put it in, they would have to get permission from Game Freak in order to do that. (Or they could make it similar, like just a rocket that gives a random effect). But still, I like the idea of this.

Yea, I know I just found out after posting it like 5 minutes ago. I find it to be a shame but I thought it was a neat suggestion none the less so I will keep it hear for a bit longer

It is, but that's each (sure you already know that) you would be surprised how many times you would get a status condition though

Not necessarily. There are ways to make a weapon which could be a mere reference to Pokémon (and in sense, any other game) without it being a direct copy. Call it easter eggs, parodies or as I said, references. Things like that exist in several titles ranging from games and manga/comics to series and movies.

I love the idea.
