Good idea, but there's already a problem with it. People already say that having pro and/or packs means you're better than everyone else. Therefore, if you have a "premium shell" like what's being suggested, you only further enhance that thought. The people with the ability to purchase it, will...but what about the majority of the current player base who are unable/unwilling to do so? It takes 2 events (we'll use Halloween and Christmas since those are the big ones coming up for everyone), to purchase 1 pack. More people would rather get the pack or save up for pro than to use those credits on the shell.

I see your point, but in regards to what you first stated, really isn't a problem. This whole prestige mode is an option, just as everything else in the shop is, there will always be players "who are unwilling/unable to do so".

And Zombie Prestige isn't for everyone anyway, players who may not be able to afford it may not even want it, that's a given. How others feel who can't afford it shouldn't even be an argument, it's like saying another weapon pack coming out or the egg shell packs from beo1 that you habe to purchase makes the game unfair for others, which true it may be, doesn't stop more weapon/map packs coming in beo2.

Yes, but the one thing we all need to look into is time. Time is money, sad fact but true. So when you think of whether people would be more opt to purchase cool new shells or weapon packs vs a new prestige mode that would be very hard to get up in the ranks in, it is almost a no-brainer that they would get packs and shells.

It has to be profitable enough for the Donkins for them to have to put their own time and effort into it, because they could be making other things that pays off more for them.

Yeah I know, and it is entirely up to the Donkins if they think something like this would be profitable to them. There are enough veteran, older, and active players that something newer and fresh would sell good, but yet remains familiar.

I agree I'd rather buy weapons packs if I didn't have any, rather than Zombie Prestige. And it would be the same with map packs for me, yet I have a map pack of my own, and still would like to get the portals pack. In fact I have seen countless lower level players with no pro that have a map pack. But it all boils down to if the Donkins know the community will love it, and it attracts a lot of attention, they'll likely go with it. Like how they've taken your Card Game into consideration for example.

True, weapon packs are more powerful than shell if no powerful weapon comes with it.

Now, on to the feedback.

Well, first of all, this would be like boosting. Say if you at level 98, then get to level 99, and kill a zombie 50/50. You do zombie prestige first if 50-100 credits, then you prestige again, which makes it 2 prestiges at once. That's a little like boosting. Don't you think?

Likely lots of people would say no about this.

Smash, you inadvertently proved my point. Pro, as we know, is 200 credits. By comparison, each pack (weapon or map) is only 50. These have more use than a prestigable shell and will take priority in players minds. Even I am unwilling to purchase this kind of shell because there's no added value to it. With the packs and pro, the added value is that we have new weapons, maps and settings. They are also more cost effective than spending an equal amount of credits on shells (e.g. 5 weapons or maps instead of 1 shell). If it were a zombie shell pack, then you would be able to put a price tag on it and put it in the shop (much like the flag shells of BEO1). You could even include new badge icons with the shells (e.g. high roller from BEO1). Having a shell that you need to upgrade (and yes, that what prestiging is, a type/form of upgrade), makes no sense.

You say that my first point about pro and packs is a non-issue, but fail to recognize the effect they have on the game. As more people purchase these things, they feel pressured to do the same because, without them, they feel that they lack an equal playing field ("Why did you get 2 devil's hand grenades and I got 3 bouncers", this has been said in game chats). By creating the prestige shell and adding new badges, you further the "imbalance" that many people already perceive. This means that regular players will feel the need to get everything just to say "Hey, I'm as good as _______ because we have all the same things." You yourself stated this by mentioning that you want to get the portals pack. Yes, it's cool, but you want it because others have it and use them in-game.

I don't get what doesn't make sense, it's for fun. You gradually unlock the shells and badges that are included this mode for nothing else but plain old fun. It gives you something to do and look forward to. Which was the point of the whole idea for me.

And I'm not sure if you knew this or just used the badges inclucded with the pack as an example, but Zombie Prestige will indeed include badges.

First off, your wrong about one thing. When portals first came out, I wanted to get the map pack the moment I laid eyes on it and tried it out in practice. And if anyone didn't have it, that would just make me want it all the more.

I understand you're reasoning completely, I just don't personally see it as a big problem, as I said before we already have prestige badges and other unlockable shells (even if not unlocked by the same means), I just see my idea as an option for more of those things, so players really won't feel that left out the way I see it. And it would yet again be up to the Donkins if they see something like this would fit.

Btw laser if there were no free shells and guns the ppls maybe even would look tht becuase without "a taste of the game"they wouldnt pay for creds,becuase they might not like it.
